  • 40 mg vitamin C (50% of RDA)

Collagen is the 'glue' that holds our bodies together

Collagen is a strong, elongated protein. Collagen makes up at least a quarter to a third of all protein in the human body. Its function is to give body tissues such as cartilage, bone tissue, tendons, skin and all internal organs a firm structure.

In combination with substances such as chondroitin* and hyaluronic acid*, collagen gives the joints and skin, amongst others, shape, firmness and volume.

Collagen can justifiably be referred to as the 'glue' that holds the body together. In fact, that is what collagen means. As it happens, the word collagen is derived from the Greek word 'kolla', which means glue, and the affix 'gen' which alludes to producing or creating.

With vitamin C as support for normal collagen production, this supplement contributes to the normal functioning of the:

  • Cartilage
  • Blood vessels
  • Skin
  • Teeth and gums

* This applies to chondroitin and hyaluronic acid produced by the human body itself. Scientists are still investigating precisely how the body processes nutritional supplements containing these substances, such as Arthro-5.

Highly soluble, no strong taste

Many collagen powders are not very soluble and can form lumps when mixed with liquid. The collagen in the form of peptides used by is highly soluble in (tap) water and other drinks. It dissolves well in both hot and cold liquids.

Collagen supplements often have a strong or even bitter taste. However, collagen in the form of peptides is virtually tasteless. You can therefore simply mix it with water. But you can also mix it with fruit juice or coffee, for example.

You can also opt for collagen powder with the taste of tropical fruits, sweetened with stevia extract.



When you choose our collagen, you are choosing quality. We can guarantee that as follows:

  • Correct high dosage. This collagen supplement contains 10 grams of collagen peptides per daily dose of one scoop. Scientific studies have shown 10 grams of collagen per day to be a good dose. A lower dose of collagen, such as that contained in a few capsules, is often insufficient.

  • Quality product. We use Peptan-B collagen, a branded product from French manufacturer Rousselot. It is produced in accordance with stringent GMP and HACCP requirements. That means the manufacturer follows procedures that guarantee food safety and food hygiene.
