Analysis per capsule:
The recommended use of Omega-3 Algae Oil is 2 capsules per day. The capsules may be taken simultaneously or distributed throughout the day. It is preferable to take the capsules at mealtime(s) or with plenty of water.

Natural triglycerides
The algae oil we use for this supplement is a natural oil (triglyceride). We prefer this to artificially produced algae oil based on ethyl esters.
Supplements based on ethyl esters have very high concentrations of omega-3 fatty acids. However, the body is less able to digest and absorb them. Omega-3 in the form of a natural oil is easy to digest and leads to better absorption in the tissues of the human body.
The so-called omega-3 index indicates how the different fatty acids in the blood relate to each other in number. When this index is low, the cell walls of red blood cells contain relatively little omega-3. This is an indication of the amount of omega-3 fatty acids in the whole body.
A supplement containing omega-3 fatty acids is often used to supplement the diet when the omega-3 index is low. Research has shown that supplementation with triglyceride omega-3 leads to a stronger improvement of the omega-3 index than with synthetic ethyl ester supplements.
