High-quality plant protein

Fava Bean Protein Isolate is a highly concentrated source of high-quality plant protein. By removing anti-nutrients from the beans, this protein is easier to absorb. Fava Bean Protein Isolate is also a rich source of various minerals and is sweetened with an extract of the stevia plant. This dietary supplement is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Protein isolate from the Fava bean

Milk proteins such as whey protein and casein protein are particularly popular. They taste good and have an excellent nutritional value. However, not everyone tolerates these proteins well. For people with a milk protein allergy or intolerance, Fava Bean Protein Isolate is a good alternative protein supplement.

Much needed variety?

During long-term use of large amounts of the same type of protein, it is possible for the body to develop an allergy to it. At least this is claimed by some weight lifting gurus. We have not yet come across scientific research that backs this claim up.

However, should the claim indeed be correct, Fava Bean Protein Isolate offers a great variation to whey and casein proteins. The percentage of BCAAs and other essential amino acids in broad beans is quite high. The human body can easily use broad bean proteins for muscle maintenance or building.

Special amino acids

Broad bean protein isolate is a plant-based protein that is high in essential amino acids. This product contains an impressive 18% essential 'branched-chain amino acids' (BCAAs). The protein contains a total of 38% essential amino acids. The high content of essential amino acids and BCAAs makes Fava Bean Protein Isolate very suitable for athletes and people on a protein diet.

Furthermore, Fava Bean Protein Isolate is rich in the amino acid (L-)arginine. It contains more than 2 grams of arginine per scoop. That is about 4 times more than whey protein.
