Allergens
Grains, gluten.
(Ground) oats contain the avenin protein, which is similar to gluten. Oats may also contain traces of gluten after processing and transport. These oats are not grown in conjunction with wheat. The official standpoint of the importer is that this product has gluten containing grains. We discourage people with celiac disease/gluten intolerance to use Bio Bulk Oats.
Bio Bulk Oats may also contain traces of: egg, peanut, soy, milk, nuts, sesame seeds, sulphites and lupine. Bio Bulk Oats is free from: shellfish, fish, celery, mustard and molluscs.
Gain weight with oats
Are you having trouble getting heavier and gaining muscles? Bio Bulk Oats will lend you a hand! Bio Bulk Oats are ground organic oats (oat flour) for your protein shake. Packed with complex carbohydrates and fiber. Bio Bulk Oats helps you gain weight in a healthy way.
How to use Bio Bulk Oats
Bio Bulk Oats can be used in the same way as normal oats. So as a porridge with for example raisins. However, Bio Bulk Oats is excellent to mix with your protein shake because it is extremely finely ground. You can take 1.5 scoop (70 ml) of Bio Bulk Oats and mix it with a 200 ml whey, casein or gainer shake.
Note: this scoop is not included, but it is the same as delivered with the Pure Whey Protein Isolate, and it also for sale as a separate item.
A 70 ml scoop will hold 40 grams of ground oatmeal. If you want to get heavier quickly then you can drink a shake multiple times a day in addition to your normal diet. With 3 scoops of Bio Builk Oats and 400 ml of milk you even have a pretty nutritious and lightly digestible meal.
If you want to gain weight a little more slowly then you can limit the use of the 'protein + oats shake' until after your training session. After your workout you can choose the higher dosage of 3 scoops + 400 ml of milk, and if necessary extra protein in the form of Pure Whey Protein Isolate or Micellar Casein.
Oats and the absorption of minerals
Oats have one disadvantage. They contains phytic acid just like many other grain products. This substance binds to all kinds of minerals like zinc, magnesium and calcium that you are currently eating or drinking. The bound minerals can unfortunately no longer be absorbed for use by the body. In case you frequently use (ground) oats or other grains we advise you to use extra zinc and magnesium.
Good supplements containing zinc and magnesium are Natural T-Booster and Natural Multi.
